In majority of the cases, I have seen this card appearing for mutual agreements.  For instance, if a lady tells a man that she would like to be his friend and not a girlfriend and he seems to be fine with it then it gives birth to the upright Hierophant card effect.

What is happening here is that both the people are creating their own tradition. Same is true when two people agree with each other to become boyfriend and girlfriend or husband and wife. What is more fascinating about this card is that it also talks about sexual intercourse taking place between two people even if they are not in a relationship. Tradition is the key here. That is, in a society it is a norm for sexual intercourse to take place between a husband and wife. Therefore, when two people go for sex with no strings attached the Hierophant signals that they are going to be doing a ritual of a married couple.  In short, the Hierophant tarot card signals a decision which is followed by the two people without being judgmental about it.

In love and relationship situation that is why, this card can be either positive or negative depending on how one takes his action. That is, the Chariot upright, talks of anything coming, but what this might be is not completely known But there might be a bit of shock that you will feel while witnessing it.

At the same time, it can mean moving forward with the relationship no matter how bad the situation is. So by now you know that Chariot can be interpreted in many different ways. I am sure it is making you confused. To help you understand the card, I have provided two situations with compatible interpretations of this card.

• Two lovers do not quite click, but they are still ready to continue the relationship: In a reading about it, the Chariot signals doing things without thinking. Both the lovers wish to rely on willpower to continue.
• The couple had a bitter breakup and they do not wish to face each other anymore: Here the Chariot talks of them going in opposite directions. They are using all their willpower to move on. Description:
A princess like lady capable of taming a lion.

Interpretations
At face value, there is not much needed to be told about the general meaning of the Strength card, for its title describes what it wants to say. In love and relationship situations, upright, this card emphasizes that the alliance between the two people has extreme strength provided they are already in a happy relationship.Other times, it is the dawn after a bad argument, whispering that there will be a reconciliation.  What if none of them suits your situation? There are actually some complex elements attached to this card which do not always signal what we just came to know.

Notice the infinity sign floating on the top of the head of the woman. The number of the card is 8, which if rotated in 90 degree angle will turn into that same symbol. Lion, on the other hand, is a wild animal. He can represent a man or all the anger and ignorance we bottle up within ourseleves. The synonyms of the word strength are courage, power, firmness and so on. As confirmed by the symbol on the woman's head, they all are feminine. All of this must be taken into account to interpret the other relationship issues. Look at the two examples given below to understand this:

Abusive relationship: Here the card is telling you to step up. Do something about it. However, the warning sign here is the karmic number 8. Whatever you decide to do will have impact upon your life or situation. The lady in the card is asking you to use a calm approach. Do use your strength, but for the right reasons.

Breakup: It is good to get Strength card after a permanent breakup. It signals elimination of depression and moving on for the better. If you are not experiencing, then the card advices you to start looking after yourself. Let go of all the anger and sad thoughts to make way for Mr. Right.

Feeling-wise, for a man, the woman in this card is his lover who is strong inside and thus has the ability to continue a long term relationship. She is charming and that makes him fall in lust. In brief,  it says, “she has it all”.

The bad news, however, is found in this card’s reversed position. Things in the relationship are not too great. The lovers are not doing anything to make their bond stronger. The woman feels she is staying with an uncaring man. On the contrary, the man thinks his lady love is very annoying. This tarot card reversed in relationship readings should not be taken lightly, for it also signals fierce hatred and ugly arguments.

Many tarot card readers like to describe Hermit as someone who is reflecting on his life. But I have found this card appearing upright for those who wish to stay or live the life of a single. This card also emphasizes that a date, Mr. Right or Miss Right is not coming  your way anytime soon.

For a real relationship, it means that the two people are now used to each other, but the spark of love and romance is gone. In fact, they might just get the feeling that something is missing between them.

Feeling-wise, if a woman is interested in a man then she is thinking that he is not involved with anyone. Same is true for the man’s feeling about the woman he is attracted to. In short, the Hermit emphasizes, “They must be single” notion.

That notion works in another way for a relationship suffering from trust issues. If you are doing the reading to know whether your partner is cheating on you the appearance of this card signals a big no.

In reversed position, the news is very negative. The relationship no more seems satisfying. Thus, the partners look elsewhere for new relationships.

An interesting point I would like to share here is that if you ask the cards what your lover is up to and a Hermit tarot card reversed shows up it might simply mean that he is sleeping for the time being.

Wheel of fortune is sometimes taken as a complicated tarot card, for it basically emphasizes “anything can happen”. This is true even in situations of love and relationship. Look at the word “fortune”. What does that mean?  Luck and wealth.

So if you have your eyes on someone the appearance of this tarot card in a reading about them simply reveals that something will happen between you and them, and that is also in a very shocking manner. In short, luck is with you and so you do not need to worry. In a reading about a relationship, Wheel of fortune tells you of good things happening or coming your way. Whatever you get will be filled with passion. But of course, the anchor is still in your hand. What this means is that for the good to come you have to improve yourself and be honest to your date or partner.

The most common thing in this card happens to be a pair of wings. In love, that represents floating. So whoever you are dating may simply make you feel that you are flying and you certainly will not want this to be over.

Justice tarot card is connected to the term “coming to just verdict only after weighing all the evidences”. So how does it play out in a love and relationship situation? A few years ago, one of my friends was cheated by her boyfriend. It was not any normal cheating. The man first slept with the other woman and then after a few days moved in with her. The most bizarre part about that specific event was that the man did not really break up with my friend. In fact, on and off he contacted her to let her know that he still had feelings for her.

My friend was so depressed about her situation that she allowed him to continue it for a while. However, after three months she finally realized that he was actually manipulating her feelings. Consequently, she gathered courage and one day ferociously told the man to never contact her ever again. After this event, when she told me to do a reading on her and him I found the Justice tarot card appearing.  So what do you think happened in her situation? There was a sudden awakening in her senses which triggered her to come to a sudden resolution to throw the man out of her life. This is what actually the Justice tarot card in a love or relationship situation is all about.

Death is one of the gloomiest tarot cards to get in a reading, for it talks of the end! However, in love and relationship situations, this is not always the case. The meaning of end here can be just about anything.

It can mean the couple is about to see a new phase which can mark the beginning of a bad or happy time. This card can also represent all the belongings of the past that the couple removes from their lives.As mentioned before, death represents the ending. So it is possible for a relationship to perish for good.

But how would you know that it is really over? For this, you basically have to analyze your love life. Has your partner suddenly disappeared? If your answer is yes then the appearance of the Death card reveals that your time with him or her is over at least in the relationship department. In other words, the person might reappear in your life, but this does not mean that you would be able to live the past with them. Your feelings might die and so you might not want to see them like before again. Also this person might come to you again for a friendship instead of a relationship. There are just too many meanings associated with the Devil tarot card, but somehow it all lands on the keywords associated with the psychological elements. Most of the time this tarot card is taken as very negative by the tarot card readers. But in some of the readings I have done, the Devil actually turned out to be positive! One important point to mention here is that just because the card has been titled as Devil does not mean that it is telling you that your life is surrounded with evil! No, this is not always true especially when the tarot card appears in a love reading. A relationship can only begin if there is a physical attraction between the two lovers. Basically, this physical attraction is summed up by the upright Devil tarot card in a love reading. When the question is about the overall quality of the relationship the appearance of the Devil tarot card emphasizes that it has become an addiction for the two lovers. Traditionally, this addiction is often linked with sex. That is, the couple has formed the bond to indulge in earthly pleasure which is sex. Now whether it is good or bad is all up to you to decide, but you must remember that too much of something can later become destructive for one’s  health!

Now let’s learn how Devil tarot card can be negative in nature. Interestingly, this tarot card in a negative way is associated with fear especially as an outcome. In a relationship situation, if you have been argumentative the appearance of the Devil tarot card tells you  that you are just creating too much terror and thus, your partner has fear towards you.

The devil tarot card also signals emotional baggage of the past being carried at present. Depression rules the person. Unfortunately, it has been brought by the pain associated with the memories.
